Home Economics and Education is an interdisciplinary programme that equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in food and nutrition, clothing and textiles, family resource management, and child development, all integrated with core educational methodologies for effective classroom instruction. Students are trained to become competent professionals who can translate domestic science into meaningful learning experiences. Graduates of this programme pursue rewarding careers as secondary school Home Economics teachers, nutritionists, consumer educators, and family life counsellors across public and private institutions.
