An automobile air-conditioning system keeps the car cabin cool by removing heat and moisture from the air. The compressor, driven by the engine, pumps refrigerant gas through the system like a heart pumping blood. This hot gas flows to the condenser, which releases the heat outside, similar to how a radiator works. The cooled liquid refrigerant then passes through the dryer, which removes any moisture that could damage the system. Finally, the evaporator inside the cabin absorbs heat from the interior air, cooling it down before blowing it into your space. Think of a Lagos taxi with a working air-conditioner on a hot afternoon—that comfort comes from this cycle working perfectly. The whole process repeats continuously while the engine runs, maintaining that pleasant temperature you enjoy during traffic jams.
