Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, not Literature in English and Mathematics and any three (3) subjects from the following: Economics/Commerce, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English Geography Office Practice Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, History/Government Typewriting Shorthand
Procurement and Supply Chain Management equips students with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage the flow of goods, services, and information across organisations and industries. Students explore core areas such as logistics management, inventory control, contract administration, supplier relationship management, purchasing principles, and strategic sourcing. Coursework also covers warehousing, distribution networks, cost optimisation, and global trade regulations, preparing graduates for the complexities of modern supply chains. Upon graduation, career opportunities span roles as procurement officers, supply chain analysts, logistics managers, and materials managers across sectors including oil and gas, manufacturing, retail, and government agencies. Graduates are encouraged to pursue professional certification through the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Nigeria (CIPSIN) or the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Nigeria (CILTN), which significantly enhances career prospects and professional credibility.
