You must have credit passes in English Language and Literature in English at O'level, plus three more credit passes. The three additional subjects can be any subjects from the Arts, Social Sciences, or Sciences groups.
Performing Arts is a dynamic and multidisciplinary programme that trains students in the creative and technical aspects of theatre, dance, music, and film production. Students explore dramatic literature, stagecraft, choreography, voice training, costume and set design, as well as the history and theory of performance traditions, including indigenous Nigerian and African theatrical forms. Graduates are well prepared to pursue careers as professional actors, theatre directors, choreographers, screenwriters, and entertainment entrepreneurs. The growing Nollywood industry, live performance circuits, and cultural tourism sector provide significant opportunities for skilled practitioners. The Society of Nigerian Theatre Artists and the Actors Guild of Nigeria provide professional platforms for networking and recognition.
