Five (5) SSC credit passes in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English Language.
Nursing Science is a rigorous undergraduate programme that equips students with the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills needed to deliver quality patient care across diverse healthcare settings. Students study core subjects including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, maternal and child health, psychiatric nursing, medical-surgical nursing, and community health nursing. Practical clinical placements in hospitals and health centres form an essential part of training, ensuring graduates are competent and confident healthcare professionals. Upon completion, graduates can pursue careers as clinical nurses in public and private hospitals, community health educators, nursing educators in academic institutions, or healthcare administrators. The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) regulates professional practice, and registration with the council is mandatory before graduates can legally practice within Nigeria.
