Admission requirements for Igbo/Political Science at African Thinkers Community Of Inquiry College Of Education, Enugu State, Enugu State.
You must get credit passes in five subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Igbo, and Government or History. For your remaining two credits, you need to choose one subject from the Arts subjects (like Literature in English, French, etc.) and one subject from the Social Sciences subjects (like Economics, Geography, etc.).
Combining the study of Igbo language and literature with the principles of political science, this interdisciplinary programme equips students with a deep understanding of Igbo linguistic heritage, cultural identity, and the dynamics of governance, public administration, and political theory. Students explore topics ranging from Igbo oral traditions, morphology, and creative writing to comparative politics, Nigerian constitutional development, and international relations. The programme produces graduates well-suited for careers in diplomacy and the Nigerian Foreign Service, public administration, journalism and media, as well as academia and language education. Graduates pursuing legal careers may eventually seek call to the Nigerian Bar Association.
