The curriculum bridges medicine and data management, equipping graduates to maintain accurate health records that support quality patient care and policy decisions. Career opportunities include working as health records officers in public and private hospitals, health data analysts, medical coding specialists, and health informatics consultants. Graduates are eligible for registration with the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria, the statutory body that regulates professional practice nationwide and ensures ethical standards are upheld.
