Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, French, History/Government and any other Arts subject.
French/History is a dynamic interdisciplinary programme that equips students with proficiency in the French language alongside a deep understanding of historical events, civilisations, and socio-political developments across Africa and the wider world. Students explore French literature, translation, oral and written communication, colonial history, African historiography, and diplomatic relations. Graduates pursue rewarding careers as diplomats and foreign service officers under the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, translators and interpreters with international organisations such as the United Nations and ECOWAS, secondary school teachers registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), and archivists or research analysts within government ministries and cultural institutions across the country.
