Integrated Science/Chemistry is a dynamic undergraduate programme that equips students with a broad scientific foundation, combining core principles of chemistry with elements of biology, physics, and general science education. Students explore organic and inorganic chemistry, laboratory techniques, environmental science, and science teaching methodologies, preparing them for both industrial and educational careers. Graduates are well-positioned to pursue careers as secondary school science teachers, laboratory scientists in pharmaceutical or petrochemical industries, quality control analysts, or environmental consultants. Those entering the teaching profession may register with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), while industrial chemists can affiliate with the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN) or the Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria (ICCON) for professional recognition and advancement.
