In Human Resource departments, AI handles tasks like sorting job applications, checking if candidates match job requirements, and even conducting initial interviews through chatbots. This saves time and reduces human bias in hiring decisions.
A practical Nigerian example is how banks like GTBank use AI-powered systems to screen thousands of job applications annually. The AI identifies qualified candidates based on education, experience, and skills, allowing HR officers to focus on final interviews with the best applicants.
AI also helps with employee performance tracking, training recommendations, and predicting which workers might leave the company. This allows companies to offer better benefits and training to keep valuable staff.
