You must get credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and Economics. For your remaining two credits, you need to choose any two subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Biology, Agricultural Science, or Technical Drawing.
Surveying and Geoinformatics is a four to five year undergraduate programme that equips students with both the theoretical foundations and practical skills needed to measure, analyse, and represent the physical environment. Students study land surveying, photogrammetry, remote sensing, geographic information systems, cartography, cadastral law, and geodesy, among other related subjects. Career opportunities in Nigeria span across property valuation firms, oil and gas companies, urban planning agencies, and federal or state ministries handling lands and surveys. Graduates are eligible for registration with the Surveyors Council of Nigeria, the recognised professional body regulating surveying practice, and may also align with COREN for engineering-related spatial roles.
