Surveying and Geo-Informatics is a four to five-year undergraduate programme that equips students with the knowledge and technical skills required to measure, analyse, and interpret spatial data about the earth's surface. Students study core subjects including land surveying, photogrammetry, remote sensing, geographic information systems, cartography, geodesy, and property valuation. The programme blends fieldwork with modern digital mapping technologies, preparing graduates for a rapidly evolving profession. Upon graduation, students can pursue careers as land surveyors, GIS analysts, urban and regional planners, or cadastral officers within government agencies and private firms. Graduates are eligible for registration with the **Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON)**, the statutory body responsible for regulating surveying practice across the country, which is essential for professional recognition and career advancement.
