Social Studies is an interdisciplinary programme that equips students with a broad understanding of human society, culture, civic life, governance, and the interrelationship between people and their environment. Students explore subjects such as history, geography, economics, sociology, and political science, developing critical thinking and analytical skills essential for understanding Nigeria's complex social landscape. Those entering the teaching profession may register with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, the recognised professional body regulating teaching standards across the country.
