YABATECH requires five O&sq Level Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and or Chemistry and any other one/two SSCE/NABTEB/NECO subject (s) in not more than two sittings.
Printing Technology is a dynamic and industrially focused programme that equips students with both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to thrive in the graphic communications and print production industry. Students study courses spanning prepress operations, presswork, postpress finishing, colour management, digital printing systems, packaging technology, and print business management. The programme bridges traditional printing craftsmanship with modern digital workflows, preparing graduates to function effectively in an increasingly technology-driven industry. Upon graduation, career opportunities exist in commercial printing firms, publishing houses, packaging companies, advertising agencies, and newspaper establishments across Nigeria. Graduates may also pursue entrepreneurship by establishing their own print businesses. The relevant professional body regulating print practitioners in Nigeria is the Nigerian Institute of Printing, which supports career development and industry standards.
