Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry and Physics.
Medical Imaging Technology is a dynamic allied health programme that trains students in the principles and practical application of diagnostic imaging techniques, including X-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. Students develop competencies in radiation physics, anatomy, patient care, and image interpretation, preparing them to operate sophisticated medical equipment within clinical environments. The curriculum balances theoretical foundations with hands-on clinical placements across accredited hospitals. Graduates are regulated by the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) and may pursue careers as diagnostic radiographers in public and private hospitals, sonographers in maternal and reproductive health centres, medical imaging consultants, or educators within health training institutions. The growing demand for quality diagnostic services across Nigeria makes this programme particularly rewarding and professionally viable.
