Upon graduation, professionals find rewarding opportunities in Nigeria's oil and gas sector, manufacturing industries, automation firms, and the rapidly expanding technology startup ecosystem. Some graduates also pursue careers in telecommunications and defence. The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) serves as the recognised statutory body for licensing and regulating engineering practice, and all graduates are strongly encouraged to pursue full COREN registration for professional credibility.
