Industrial Chemistry is a dynamic undergraduate programme that equips students with both theoretical and applied knowledge of chemical processes, materials science, petrochemical engineering, polymer chemistry, environmental chemistry, and quality control. Students develop practical laboratory skills alongside an understanding of how raw materials are transformed into finished industrial products. Graduates are well-positioned to pursue careers in Nigeria's petroleum and gas sector, food and beverage manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and environmental management agencies. The programme also opens pathways into chemical research and academia. Professional recognition can be obtained through the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN) and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), particularly for graduates who advance into chemical engineering-related industrial roles.
