Human Kinetics and Health Education is a dynamic undergraduate programme that equips students with comprehensive knowledge of human movement, physical fitness, sports science, and health promotion. Students explore subjects such as exercise physiology, biomechanics, anatomy, school health education, recreation management, and sports psychology, developing both theoretical understanding and practical competencies. Graduates are well-positioned to pursue rewarding careers as physical education teachers in secondary and tertiary institutions, sports coaches, fitness and wellness consultants, or public health educators working with government agencies and NGOs. The programme aligns with the standards of the Nigerian School Health Association and the Sports Federation of Nigeria, while teaching practice components ensure graduates meet requirements for professional registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.
