Admission requirements for Hospitality & Tourism Management at Federal University, Wukari, Taraba State, Taraba State.
Five (5) SSC credit passes in Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, Physics, English Language and any one of Nutrition, Fine Arts, Textile, Construction, Technical Drawing, Basic Electricity, Basic Catering and Food Services, Bakery and Confectioneries, General Metal Work, Men Garment Construction and Finishing, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing, Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing, Ladies Garment Construction and Finishing.
Hospitality and Tourism Management equips students with the knowledge and practical skills required to manage hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, and tourism enterprises effectively. Throughout the course of study, students explore subjects such as hotel operations, food and beverage management, tourism planning, event management, customer service, and hospitality marketing. Graduates are well-positioned to pursue careers as hotel managers, tourism development officers, event planners, and travel consultants — all sectors experiencing considerable growth across Nigeria. The programme also prepares students for opportunities in airline management and government tourism agencies. Relevant professional affiliations include the Hospitality and Tourism Management Association of Nigeria (HATMAN) and the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), both of which support industry standards and professional development for practitioners nationwide.
