Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Geology is a four-year undergraduate programme that equips students with a thorough understanding of the Earth's physical structure, composition, and the processes that have shaped it over billions of years. Students study core areas including mineralogy, petrology, structural geology, hydrogeology, geophysics, and stratigraphy, gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical field mapping skills. The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS) are relevant professional bodies that guide practice and certification for qualified geology professionals across the country.
