Admission requirements for Geography at Federal University, Lafia, Nasarawa State, Nasarawa State.
Five (5) SSC credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Geography, and any two (2) from Arts or Social Sciences or Science subjects.
Geography is a dynamic discipline that examines the physical and human dimensions of the Earth, exploring how natural environments, spatial patterns, population distribution, climate systems, and land use interact across different scales. Professional advancement is supported through bodies such as the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP) and the Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria (TOPREC), particularly for those specialising in planning-related pathways.
