Admission requirements for Electrical/Electronics Education at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Anambra State.
Five (5) O&sqlevel credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and any one (1) from Woodwork, Metalwork, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics etc and two (2) other subjects.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering education equips students with foundational and advanced knowledge in circuit theory, electromagnetics, power systems, telecommunications, control systems, and digital electronics. Students engage with both theoretical principles and hands-on laboratory work, developing competencies in designing, analysing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems. Graduates are well-positioned to pursue rewarding careers as power systems engineers within Nigeria's energy sector, telecommunications engineers supporting the country's growing network infrastructure, electronics design engineers in manufacturing, or instrumentation and control engineers serving the oil and gas industry. Upon graduation, students are encouraged to register with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN, which governs professional engineering practice and validates their standing as qualified engineers within the Nigerian labour market.
