Admission requirements for Economics/Political Science at Angel Crown College Of Education, Gidan-Daya, Abuja, Fct, FCT State.
You must have credit passes in five O'level subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and one more Social Science subject. The fifth credit can come from any other Social Science subject like Government, History, Geography, or Civic Education.
Economics/Political Science is a dynamic joint honours programme that equips students with analytical tools for understanding both market systems and governance structures. Students explore microeconomics, macroeconomics, public policy, political theory, comparative government, and Nigerian constitutional development, developing strong quantitative and critical thinking skills applicable across multiple sectors. Graduates are well-positioned to pursue careers in the federal civil service, policy research and development consulting, banking and financial analysis, or international organisations operating within Nigeria. Those advancing in economic analysis may work towards professional recognition through the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria or pursue postgraduate pathways into law and public administration. The programme produces versatile graduates capable of interpreting Nigeria's complex political economy with confidence and intellectual rigour.
