In addition to UTME requirements, prospective student for the DPT degree programme must satisfy the minimum entry requirements as may be prescribed by the respective Senate of the University offering the degree programme. 2. Candidates for admission into the 100 level of study must have a minimum of 5 credit passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English language at Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or General Certificate of Education (GCE ‘O’ Level) or its equivalents.
The Doctor of Physiotherapy is a rigorous clinical doctorate programme designed to train highly skilled rehabilitation professionals capable of managing complex musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and paediatric conditions. Students study human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, and evidence-based clinical practice across supervised hospital placements.
