1. Candidates for admission into the 100 level of study must have a minimum of 5 credit passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English language at Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or General Certificate of Education (GCE ‘O’ Level) or its equivalents.
The Doctor of Physiotherapy is a rigorous clinical doctorate programme designed to train highly skilled rehabilitation professionals capable of managing complex musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and paediatric conditions. Students study human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, and evidence-based clinical practice across supervised hospital placements. Upon completion, graduates are registered with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTBN), which regulates physiotherapy practice nationwide.
