Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
The Doctor of Physiotherapy is a rigorous clinical doctorate programme designed to train highly skilled rehabilitation professionals capable of managing complex musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and paediatric conditions. Students study human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, and evidence-based clinical practice across supervised hospital placements. The programme equips graduates with advanced diagnostic reasoning and patient management competencies beyond what traditional degree programmes offer. Upon completion, graduates are registered with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTBN), which regulates physiotherapy practice nationwide.
