**Computer Education/Chemistry**
Combining the pedagogical foundations of computer education with the scientific rigour of chemistry, this dual-discipline programme prepares students to teach both subjects effectively at secondary and tertiary levels. Students study core chemistry concepts including organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry alongside computer science fundamentals, educational psychology, curriculum development, and instructional technology. Graduates are equipped to pursue careers as qualified secondary school teachers, curriculum developers, educational technology consultants, and science laboratory instructors. Those venturing beyond the classroom may find opportunities in chemical industries requiring technical documentation and computer-based process management. The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) remains the primary professional body regulating teaching practice, and registration is strongly advised for graduates seeking employment within Nigeria's formal education sector.
