Combining the pedagogical foundations of computer education with the scientific rigour of biology, this interdisciplinary programme equips students with the knowledge and skills to teach both subjects effectively at secondary and tertiary levels. Students explore areas such as computer applications, educational technology, genetics, ecology, cell biology, and curriculum development. Graduates are well-positioned to pursue careers as certified secondary school teachers, educational technology specialists, curriculum developers, or science education researchers. Those advancing into teaching practice typically register with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), which regulates professional teaching standards nationwide. The programme also opens pathways into educational management and e-learning development, sectors experiencing remarkable growth across Nigeria's rapidly evolving digital education landscape.
