Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Christian Religious Studies, Igbo and any other subjects.
Christian Religious Studies/Igbo is a combined humanities programme that equips students with deep knowledge of Christian theology, biblical studies, church history, and the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of the Igbo people. Students explore sacred texts, Christian ethics, Igbo oral traditions, language structure, literature, and indigenous belief systems, developing strong analytical, communicative, and cultural competence. The programme bridges faith and identity, making graduates highly versatile in contemporary Nigerian society. Career opportunities include teaching at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels under the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), pastoral and religious ministry, cultural documentation and preservation, journalism, and content development for media organisations.
