Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Christian Religious Studies and any other Arts subjects.
Christian Religious Studies/History equips students with a deep understanding of Christian theology, biblical interpretation, church history, and the intersection of religion with African cultural traditions. Students examine sacred texts, comparative religion, ethics, and the historical development of Christianity from its early origins through its transformative spread across Nigeria and the broader African continent. The programme sharpens critical thinking, research, and communication skills highly valued across multiple sectors. Graduates pursue rewarding careers as ordained ministers, secondary school teachers registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), chaplains in hospitals and correctional facilities, or religious affairs officers within government ministries and civil society organisations. Some graduates also advance into academic research, theological scholarship, and interfaith dialogue facilitation, contributing meaningfully to Nigeria's complex religious and social landscape.
