A. ENTRY INTO 100 LEVEL 1. Candidates must pass the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with good grades 2. Candidates must pass the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its approved equivalent with minimum of credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at not more than two sittings plus an appropriate pass in the UTME.
Anatomy is a foundational biomedical science programme that equips students with in-depth knowledge of the structure and organisation of the human body. Students explore gross anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and cell biology, developing strong scientific understanding that underpins medical and health sciences education. Practical dissection sessions and laboratory work form a significant part of training, preparing graduates for rigorous scientific careers. Upon graduation, students can pursue careers as medical laboratory scientists, anatomists in tertiary institutions, research scientists, or proceed to medical school for clinical training. Some graduates also find opportunities in forensic science and the pharmaceutical industry.
