Admission requirements for Agricultural Science at Edwin Clark University, Kiagbodo, Delta State, Delta State.
Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any one of Mathematics, Physics, Geography and Economics.
Agricultural Science is a dynamic and practically oriented programme that equips students with foundational and applied knowledge in crop production, animal husbandry, soil science, agricultural economics, and farm management. Students explore modern farming techniques, pest and disease control, irrigation systems, and sustainable land use practices suited to Nigeria's diverse agroecological zones. Graduates are well-positioned to pursue careers as farm managers, agricultural extension officers, agribusiness entrepreneurs, and research scientists with government agencies such as the Agricultural Development Programme or research institutes under the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria. The Institute of Agricultural Research and Training supports professional development within the field.
