Students explore plant physiology, livestock management, farm mechanisation, soil fertility, and agribusiness principles, gaining both theoretical foundations and practical field experience. The double major structure ensures graduates are versatile and highly competitive in Nigeria's growing agri-sector. Career opportunities include agricultural extension officers, farm managers, agribusiness consultants, and research scientists with government agencies or private firms. Graduates may align professionally with the Agricultural Society of Nigeria or pursue postgraduate pathways leading to registration with relevant research and regulatory bodies in the agricultural sector.
