YABATECH requires five (5) O’Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject from the followings: Biology/Agric. Science, Economics, Geography, Technical Drawing and Agric. Mechanics.
Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering/Technology equips students with technical knowledge at the intersection of agriculture, biology, and engineering principles. Students study soil and water conservation, irrigation and drainage systems, farm machinery and mechanisation, food processing engineering, environmental management, and agricultural structures design. The programme blends theoretical foundations with practical fieldwork, preparing graduates to solve real-world challenges facing Nigerian agriculture and the environment.
Upon graduation, career opportunities span agricultural machinery manufacturing and consultancy, water resources management, food processing and agro-industrial operations, and environmental impact assessment firms.
