Five (5) SSC credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics and any two (2) of the following: Biology/Agricultural Science Chemistry Technical Drawing Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity Auto Mechanics Metal Work Further Mathematics Food and Nutrition Geography
Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering/Technology equips students with technical knowledge at the intersection of agriculture, biology, and engineering principles. Students study soil and water conservation, irrigation and drainage systems, farm machinery and mechanisation, food processing engineering, environmental management, and agricultural structures design. The programme blends theoretical foundations with practical fieldwork, preparing graduates to solve real-world challenges facing Nigerian agriculture and the environment.
Upon graduation, career opportunities span agricultural machinery manufacturing and consultancy, water resources management, food processing and agro-industrial operations, and environmental impact assessment firms. Graduates may also pursue roles in federal and state ministries of agriculture or water resources.
