Admission requirements for Accounting at Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State, Osun State.
You must have credit passes in five subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Accounting or Commerce or Business Management, and two other subjects of your choice. The two other subjects should be relevant ones like Economics, Further Mathematics, Government, or other business-related subjects.
Accounting is a four to five year undergraduate programme that equips students with a solid foundation in financial reporting, auditing, taxation, management accounting, and business law. Students develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to analyse financial data, prepare statements of account, and support sound business decision-making across private and public sector organisations. Graduates are well positioned to pursue careers as auditors, tax consultants, financial analysts, or management accountants within Nigeria's dynamic economy. The programme also serves as a strong pathway toward professional certification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), both of which are highly respected and widely recognised by Nigerian employers across banking, consulting, and government sectors.
