Five (5) SSCE credit passes including English language, Mathematics, Economics and two(2) other subjects obtained at not more than two sittings.
Accounting is a four to five year undergraduate programme that equips students with a solid foundation in financial reporting, auditing, taxation, management accounting, and business law. Students develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to analyse financial data, prepare statements of account, and support sound business decision-making across private and public sector organisations. Graduates are well positioned to pursue careers as auditors, tax consultants, financial analysts, or management accountants within Nigeria's dynamic economy. The programme also serves as a strong pathway toward professional certification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), both of which are highly respected and widely recognised by Nigerian employers across banking, consulting, and government sectors.
