# Accountancy - JAMB Requirements
You need five (5) SSC credit passes, and you must have English Language and Mathematics as two of them. For your remaining three (3) credit passes, you can choose any three subjects from this list: Economics or Commerce, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Geography, Office Practice, Government, Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, History or Government, Typewriting, or Shorthand.
Accountancy is a four to five year undergraduate programme that equips students with a solid foundation in financial reporting, auditing, taxation, management accounting, and business law.
