To study Accountancy, you need five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. You then need to get credit passes in any three (3) other subjects chosen from Economics, Commerce, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Geography, Office Practice, Government, Biology, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, History, Typewriting, or Shorthand.
Accountancy is a four to five year undergraduate programme that equips students with a solid foundation in financial reporting, auditing, taxation, management accounting, and business law.
