Computer Science Education/Integrated Science is a dual-discipline programme that equips students with both the theoretical foundations of computing and the pedagogical skills required to teach science effectively at secondary school level. Students study core areas including programming, data structures, algorithms, mathematics, physics, biology, and chemistry, alongside education courses covering curriculum development, instructional methods, and classroom management. Graduates are well-positioned to pursue careers as secondary school teachers, educational technology specialists, curriculum developers, and education officers within state and federal ministries of education. The programme also opens pathways into the technology sector for those who wish to transition beyond teaching. Graduates may register with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), which professionally certifies qualified teachers across Nigeria.
