Christian Religious Studies/French is a unique interdisciplinary programme that equips students with deep knowledge of Christian theology, biblical studies, and church history, alongside proficiency in the French language, literature, and Francophone cultures. Students explore ethical and doctrinal frameworks while developing strong communicative competence in one of Africa's most widely spoken languages. The combination prepares graduates for diverse career opportunities across Nigeria's growing economy, including roles as diplomats and foreign affairs officers, secondary school teachers registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), translators and interpreters serving government agencies or international organisations, and missionaries or development workers operating across Francophone West African nations. Graduates may also pursue postgraduate studies in theology, linguistics, or international relations.
